Everett H. BOGNER, 74, 1002 Hillcrest Drive, died at 1:16 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 1991, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Augustana Lutheran Church in Lockridge with the Rev. Ernest Elzey officiating. Following the service, the family will greet friends and relatives at the church. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to First Augustana Lutheran Church. Behner Funeral Home in in charge of arrangements.
BOGNER was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Lockridge, the son of Conrad and Ira RUPP BOGNER. He married Kathleen RODIBAUGH on Aug. 11, 1940, in Lockridge. A farmer for all of his adult life, he had lived in Fairfield the past two years and before that on a farm near Lockridge. He was a member of First Augustana Lutheran Church and the Lockridge Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, William of Oak Park, Ill., Ben of Wheaton, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Two brothers, Harold and Clarence, preceded him in death.
