Maxine M. ENGELSEN

Maxine M. ENGELSEN, 76, of Glenwood, Ill., former Packwood resident, died Monday, March 4, 1996, at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill.

The service was March 7 at Tews Funeral Home in Homewood, Ill., with burial in Evergreen Park Cemetery at Evergreen Park, Ill.

Mrs. ENGELSEN was born in Packwood, the daughter of Bernie and Anna WILLIAMS. She grew up in Packwood and attended school there. She retired in 1983 from Nabisco on Chicago's Southwest Side, where she worked as a baker. She had lived in Glenwood for 31 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis FRYE of Country Club Hills, Ill.; three sons, Ronald and Roger, both of Glenwood, Dale of Frankfort, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She has several cousins in the Richland area.
