Betty Lou CONRAD DRISH

PLEASANT PLAIN - Betty Lou CONRAD DRISH, 67, of Pleasant Plain, died Thursday, March 28, 1996, at the Donnellson Health Care Center in Donnellson.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain, with the Rev. David Brownfield and the Rev. Francis Bass officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain. Prayers for a Christian wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials have been established to St. Joseph elevator project and Donnellson Health Care-Alzheimer's Unit. Gould Funeral Home in Brighton is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. DRISH was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Harper, the daughter of Cyril and Anna SCHULTZ CONRAD. She was raised in the Keota and Brighton areas and graduated from Brighton High School in 1946. On July 10, 1947, she married William C. DRISH in East Pleasant Plain. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband of Pleasant Plain; three daughters, Susie DRISH of Fairfield, Joan BEIER of Newton, Julie DeMOSS of Coralville; two sons, John of Bettendorf, Terry of Brighton; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Bonnie CONRAD of Washington, Iowa, Marolyn SHIRKEY of Harper, Dolores "Cookie" PACHA of Richland; and a brother, Ronald "Mac" CONRAD of Washington, Iowa. Her parents preceded her in death.
