SALINA - Mrs. Carl J. ANDERSON, lifetime resident of the Salina community, died at 6:20 a.m. Monday at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Salina Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ted Whitham officiating. Burial will be in Salina Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Raymond Funeral Home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight.
Maude ANDERSON, 87, was born May 29, 1890, in the Salina community. She was the daughter of William and Emma WALGREN KRUMBOLTZ.
She spent her entire life in the Salina community, attended Parsons College and completed her education at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, S.D. She taught school one year at Farmington.
She was a member of Salina Presbyterian Church, Dorcas Society and Farm Bureau.
Her marriage to Carl J. ANDERSON took place Oct. 16, 1917 at Salina. He died in April 1971.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard RUSSELL, Salina, and Mrs. John MIDDLEKOOP Jr., Batavia; five sons, Merlyn, Gerald and Clarence, all of Brighton and Wilbur and Bill of Salina.
Also 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Naomi SCHILLERSTROM, Lockridge, and Marian KRUMBOLTZ, Salina; one brother, Orus KRUMBOLTZ, Pacifica, Calif.
Mrs. ANDERSON was preceded in death by her husband, one granddaughter, two sisters and three brothers.
