A.N. COOK Dies At 64

Alvey Noble COOK, 64, 811 W. Broadway, died Thursday at 2:45 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient since Aug. 22.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Raymond Funeral Home.

COOK was born April 2, 1913 in Jefferson County, the son of Jim and Dora BRENNER COOK. He was married to Eva EDLER Oct. 11, 1947. He had lived in Fairfield and Davenport and was a retired employe of Mercy Hospital in Davenport.

Surviving are his widow and four sons: Roger Allen, at home; Randy LaVern, Davenport; Rocky Eldon and Rennard Del Ray, both of Fairfield; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hazel MEIER, Davenport; and his step-father, Walter MERRITT, Fairfield.
