DEATH OF A PIONEER. Harried Newell TILFORD was born in Morgan Co., Ill., July 31st 1830, and died December 21st 1904. She was married to W. B. FRAME Nov. 3, 1859. Five children were born of this union. Little Julia A. died in infancy, and John Tilford in his 14th year. The three children who survive are Mary and Susan at home and Joseph C. FRAME, who lives on the old homestead. Mrs. FRAME's father, James TILFORD, came to Round Prairie Township and located his land in 1836. The mother and oldest son and the little girls remained in Illinois until 1840, when they came to this land of promise and made it their home. . . . . .Member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. . . . .Of the ten children of the TILFORD family who were together in the pioneer days in "The old home" only three remain, Joseph TILFORD and Mrs. Mary HUMPHREY of this county, and Mrs. Elizabeth GRADY of Missouri."
