Jerry Leroy RODENMAYER

Jerry Leroy RODENMAYER, 56, of Talent, Ore., died Friday, Nov. 12, 1993, at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Ore.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Cemetery in Ashland, Ore., with the Rev. B.J. Holland officiating. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 698, Medford, Ore., 97051. Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland, Ore., is in charge of arrangements.

RODENMAYER was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Fairfield, the son of Glenn and Lois RODENMAYER. He was raised in Ashland, graduated from Ashland High School in 1955, and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked as a sheetmetal worker and was a member of the Sheetmetal Workers International Union. He lived in several places, including Alaska and California before returning to the Rogue Valley in 1991. He married Carol GANDEE on Sept. 26, 1992, in Reno, Nev. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren, two stepsons, a stepdaughter, a brother, his father and stepmother, Glenn and Betty RODENMAYER, his mother and stepfather, Lois and Norm FONTAINE, all of Medford.
