Natalie R. ZIMMERMAN

A memorial service for Natalie R. ZIMMERMAN, 63, 703 N. Court St., who died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1993, at her home, was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at MIU Chapel. Raymond Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. ZIMMERMAN was born April 21, 1930, at Oshkosh, Neb., the daughter of Phillip and Hildur OLSON SAMEULSON. She grew up in Oshkosh, did her undergraduate work at University of Nebraska, and received a law degree from the University of Maryland in 1963. In 1967, she became the first female prosecutor in the state of Maryland. Her private practice was in domestic and criminal law. She had been a resident and attorney in Fairfield since 1979, was a member of the Iowa Bar Association, Fairfield Peer Group, and was adjunct faculty member of MIU. On July 10, 1952, in Chicago, she married Samuel J. ZIMMERMAN, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, Samuel and Daniel, both of Fairfield, Michael of Clearwater, Fla.; two grandsons; a brother, Dr. Reid SAMUELSON of Eastford, Conn.; and a sister, Phyllis GUENIN of Spearfish, S.D.
