Margaret S. LOVE

Margaret S. LOVE, 82, of Loveland, Colo., died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1993, at Loveland Good Samaritan Health Center.

The local service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation begins at noon Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, 60 Bay St., Suite 401, Staten Island, N.Y., 10301, First Methodist Church in Loveland, Colo., or to organization of donor's choice.

Mrs. LOVE was born Dec. 25, 1910, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Hampton L. and Nancy T. HELTON SCOTT. She graduated from Fairfield High School and attended the University of Iowa. On Sept. 11, 1937, she married A. Wayne LOVE in Wheaton, Ill. He died Oct. 9, 1984. She was employed by Nelson Chevrolet in Chicago. She and her husband lived in Chicago, Arlington, Va., Peoria, Ill., and New York City before moving to Denver, Colo., in 1955. While living in Denver, they managed the Ben Franklin store in Commerce City, Colo., for 17 years and later purchased the Ben Franklin store in Loveland before retiring in 1972. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Loveland after transferring from Park Hill Methodist Church in Denver, where she was active for many years.

Surviving are two sisters, Edna SCOTT of Keokuk, Ada JEWETT of Pontiac, Mich.; several nieces and nephews, including Mary ZILLMAN of Fairfield. Four brothers, Frank, Harold Sr., Raymond, Wayne Sr., and a sister, Jessie MILLER, preceded her in death.
