Roy L. OLLOM

Roy L. OLLOM, 69, 609 W. Jefferson Ave., died at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1993, in the emergency room at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A family memorial has been established.

OLLOM was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Kirkville, the son of Lotas and Pearl KANE OLLOM. He grew up in the Ottumwa area and had lived in the Fairfield community the past 37 years. He married Jean COOK on Oct. 15, 1956, in Lancaster, Mo. He served in the Army in World War II and the Korean War. He was a welder at Rockwell International Corporation until retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and Eagles Lodge (sic - Eagles Aerie).

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Tim, David and Todd, all of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
