Shirley LUTHER

Shirley Maxine LUTHER, 74, of Brookings, S.D., died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Brookview Manor.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rude’s Funeral Home in Brookings. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brethren Cemetery in Batavia.

Memorials may be made to the Shirley Peebler Luther McCrory Gardens Endowment Fund at PO Box 525, Brookings, S.D. 57006 or the Shirley Peebler Luther Horticulture Scholarship Fund at the South Dakota State University Foundation.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda BIES, and husband Charlie of Andover, Minn., and Carol SWISHER and husband Dave of Brookings; one son, Eric LUTHER and and wife Karla of Marshall, Minn.; three sisters, Norma HICKS of O’Fallon, Mo.; Doris THRASHER and Dorothy PEEBLER, both of Ottumwa; and seven grandchildren.

Note: Parents were Wayne R. PEEBLER and Elsie Mae LITTLEFIELD.
