Todd Edward SHANNAN

Todd Edward SHANNAN, 32, 2337 269th St., died at 3:55 a.m. today, Friday, Feb. 2, 1996, at his home, following a lengthy illness.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home, with Richard Chapius officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Pattison Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Jefferson County.

SHANNAN was born Jan. 7, 1964, in Keosauqua, the son of Jim and Mary Lou SHANNAN. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1982 and attended Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in accounting in 1986. He held management positions within General Motors from 1986 to 1989 in both Daython, Ohio and Detroit, Mich. He received a master's degree in accounting from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., and taught undergraduate accounting and computer courses. He was consultant with American Management Systems in Washington, D.C., from January 1991 to January 1995. He assisted in developing customized accounting systems for the federal government.

Surviving are his parents of Fairfield; three brothers, Mike and Kirk, both of Fairfield, and Kevin of Anderson, S.C.
