Lillie Marie Plowman, 67, of Piedmont, Mo., and formerly of Douds, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Leando Cemetery in Douds, with the Rev. Connie Markle officiating.

Memorials to the Van Buren County Relay for Life event may be brought to the service or mailed to Pedrick Funeral Home, PO Box 38, Douds 52551.

Pedrick Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Plowman was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Ellsinore, Mo. She married David L. Plowman Dec. 19, 1988, in Fairfield.

They lived in Cedar Rapids, then moved from Douds to Missouri in 2002.

Mrs. Plowman was a homemaker.

She was a member of Mill Springs Christian Church and was active in Christ United Methodist Church while living in Douds.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Ora Jane Brown of Piedmont; one stepdaughter, Julie Plowman Stull of Cedar Rapids; five brothers, Richard and Thomas Brown, both of Piedmont, Gene Brown of Ellsinore, Arden Brown of Lonedell, Mo., and Roger Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; six sisters, Inez Parks of St. Clair, Mo., Mary McFadden of Piedmont, Maggie Thorsland of Mill Spring, Mo., Betty Smith of Elsberry, Mo., Donna Johnson of Villa Ridge, Mo., and Pamela Hanners of Arbyrd, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
