Lois Louise HOSKINS, 83, of Fairfield and formerly of Lockridge, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Jefferson County Health Center.
Interment of cremains will be at Lockridge Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Fund.
Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is handling arrangements.

Mrs. HOSKINS was born March 23, 1930, in Fairfield, the daughter of Edward Charles and Mable SINGLETON ANGSTEAD. She married James L. HOSKINS Aug. 30, 1948, in Fairfield.
She graduated from Fairfield High School.
She worked at Universal Producing Company and Fairfield Glove, sewing, until her retirement Dec. 5, 1991.
She was a member of the Heritage Club and the VFW.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael HOSKINS of Marion and Delbert HOSKINS and significant other Becky CALVIN of Lockridge; two grandsons; and two sisters, Kae SIMONS of Fairfield and Jessie DAVIDSON of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Lois L. HOSKINS, 83, of Fairfield and formerly of Lockridge, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014; and her spouse, James J. HOSKINS, 85, of Fairfield and formerly of Lockridge, died Saturday, April 26, 2014.
A joint memorial service for the couple is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Diane Brokken officiating.
The Ledger published a full obituary for Lois HOSKINS Jan. 9 and for James HOSKINS April 28.
