HENRY STEWART, a resident of Jefferson County since 1853, died at his home in the southwestern part of the city Monday evening…..Deceased was 78 years of age. He was a native of Maryland, and removed to Ohio in early life. He was married in that state 53 years ago, and his aged wife now survives him. Eleven children were born to them, only four of whom are now living. One son, Rev. S. S. Stewart, resides in this city. The family came to this county in 1853, and for many years lived in Round Prairie Township. Ten years ago Mr. Stewart came to this city, where he has since lived. He was an excellent man in every relation to society…..The remains will be interred in this city today."
