“DEATH OF MRS. WILLIAM CASE. Mrs. Ann Case, wife of William Case, died at her home four miles northwest of Glasgow last Monday morning at ten o’clock…..Bright’s disease….. Mrs. Case was a daughter of the late Smith Ball, of this city, and was born in Illinois. When about a year old she came with her parents to Iowa and located in Round Prairie Township, where she has lived ever since. She is spoken of in the highest terms by all who knew her, as a good, kind and most estimable woman. She leaves seven children: Mrs. James Litton, of Brookville; Mrs. Jesse Helfinstine, of Cedar Township; Mrs. John Ball, of Cherokee; Frank, of Colorado, and Marshall, Willa and Ella, at home. The funeral took place Tuesday morning and the remains were buried at the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Deceased was fifty-seven years old.”
