Thursday, Nov. 7, 1929, page 4.“OBITUARY – MRS. T. W. CLARK. Eliza Ann PHILIPS was born Oct. 20, 1848, in Green County, Ohio, and died near Anabel, Mo., Nov. 1, 1929, at the age of 81 years and 11 days. She came to Iowa when one year of age and lived there until 1904. She then went to Missouri and has lived there since. She was married to A. S. FRY and to this union were born two daughters, Hattie, who died at the age of 16 years, and Mrs. Addy PARSONS of Fairfield, who was at her bedside when she died. She was married to T. W. CLARK April 2, 1911, who, with his children, Harry CLARK, Ethel ARNETT, and Earnest CLARK, survive her. She also leaves eight step grandchildren of whom she was very fond. Her only sister left, Mrs. Ellen DURRETT, lives at Lebanon, Kans…..Fitting services of respect, in charge of Rev. George C. Parker, pastor of the Fairfield Lutheran church, were held Sunday afternoon in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Truman PARSONS, and Mrs. CLARK was laid to rest in the Mt. Zion cemetery.”
