Mae PEEBLER

Mae PEEBLER, 92, of Nelson Nursing Home, died there at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 1993.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. Friends may sign the register book at Raymond Funeral Home. The casket will be closed at Mrs. PEEBLER's request. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. PEEBLER was born Aug. 24, 1900, in Van Buren County, the daughter of John A. and Mary E. WILLIAMS WATSON. The family moved to Jefferson County the year she was born, and she attended Glasgow School and Fairfield High School. She was a practical nurse. She married Ellis H. PEEBLER on Nov. 18, 1919, at the Christian church parsonage in Fairfield. They lived in Iowa until 1941, when they moved to California, lived there for nine years, then moved to Oregon. She lived there for 25 years. He died in 1966 and she returned to Fairfield in 1976.

Surviving are two sons, Jack W. of Colfax, Calif., Robert B. of Galveston, Texas; three grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
