Burial Rites In Evergreen

IOWA CITY - Dorinda WEBBER, 96, former Fairfield resident, passed away at the Iowa City Care Center Saturday evening, June 23.

Last rites will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Beckman-Butherus Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield at 2:30 p.m.

She was born July 8, 1876 in Lincoln, Kan., the daughter of Rev. John S. and Susan HENDRICKSON STRANGE and was married in Lincoln December 25, 1897 to Myron David WEBBER who preceded her in death. The couple moved to Fairfield in 1914 and to Iowa City in 1926.

Surviving are three sons and six daughters: Norman WEBER (sp), Iowa City; Rev. Aaron WEBBER, Hutchison, Kan.; Rev. Fred WEBBER, Huron, S.D.; Mrs. Rindle (Hattie) HUTTON, Fairfield; Mrs. Cleo (Norenne) HINES, Des Moines; Mrs. Gust (Abbey) BRENDER, Mrs. Lottie WHITSEL, Mrs. Laird (Ersel) ADDIS and Mrs. Orval (Woodye) KESSLER, all of Iowa City.

Also surviving are 35 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded by 12 brothers, four sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
