Julie CATCOTT SHORT

Julie CATCOTT SHORT, 68, of Lake Ozark, Mo., formerly of Keosauqua, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Herb Schafer officiating. The body has been cremated.

Visitation with the family is 1-2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left a the funeral home or mailed to the family at 331 Northport Drive, Lake Ozark, MO 65049.

Julie CATCOTT SHORT

Julie CATCOTT SHORT, 68, of Lake Ozark, Mo., and formerly of Keosauqua, died Monday Dec. 16, 2013, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Mo.

A memorial service was today in Osage Beach. A local memorial service is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Herb Schafer officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

Visitation with family is 1-2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.

Memorials to Dogwood Animal Shelter may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 331 Northport Drive, Lake Ozark MO 65049.

Mrs. CATCOTT SHORT was born July 8, 1945, in Keosauqua the daughter of Harold W. and Katherine WORKMAN CATCOTT. She married John SHORT March 28, 1987, in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

She worked in the banking industry until her retirement in 1999.

After retirement she moved to Lake of the Ozarks. She loved boating, sun bathing and all water sports.

She was a member of the Book Club of Osage Beach.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Shannon HUNSAKER of Charleston, S.C.; one stepdaughter, Michelle GAUTIER and spouse Brian of Indianapolis, Ind., two stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Fred CATCOTT of Osage Beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Dalton HUNSAKER.
