Linda Kay St. Claire, 59, of Montrose died at 12:10 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Montrose, with the Rev. Gerald Hoenig officiating. Burial will be in Montrose Cemetery.

Visitation began at 1 p.m. today at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. today.

Memorials have been established in her memory.

Mrs. St. Claire was born March 18, 1944, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Evalyn Hoskins Willey. She married Ralph St. Claire Aug. 8, 1970.

She was a graduate of Fairfield High School. She worked for Universal Producing Company in Fairfield, then the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown. She later worked as a Head Start teacher at the Eichacker Community Center, retiring in 2003.

She was affiliated with St. Josephs Catholic Church in Montrose.

She was a former den mother for the Cub Scouts.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Shannon St. Claire of Montrose; her parents of Montrose; three brothers, Wayne Willey of Nashville, Ind., Carl Willey of Denver, Colo. and Steve Willey of Cantril; and two sisters, Pamela Neely of Sand Springs, Okla., and Sandra St. Clair of Montrose.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, twin Lawrence Willey and Jim Willey; and her grandparents.
