Ray GRANT Dies In Arizona

Word has been received here of the death of Ray GRANT, former Jefferson County resident who died Sunday in Arizona. He died at 2:30 p.m. in Boswell Hospital at Sun City.

Last rites are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lunddurg Golden Door Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunland Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to First Christian Church, Sun City, Arizona, Box 603, 85351.

Raymond E. GRANT was born Dec. 3, 1894, in Jefferson County near Glasgow, the son of James E. and Jennie TAYLOR GRANT.

He was married to Lida GARDNER Dec. 29, 1918, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wilma CORDEN, California, and Mrs. Lois BRIGGS, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Hazel G. HUGHES, and a brother, Glenn T. GRANT, both of Fairfield.
