Mrs. Hugh EMRY, 115½ N. Court St., died early today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David PAYNE, in Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA).

Arrangements are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. EMRY Dies At 84

Last rites for Mrs. Hugh EMRY, 84, 115½ N. Court St., will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. EMRY died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arlene PAYNE, in Davenport. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Wayne Bartruff and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Mrs. EMRY was the former Martha Elizabeth KNIGHT. She was born Nov. 24, 1888 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Adda RAMSAY KNIGHT. She was married to Hugh EMRY March 26, 1911. He died Aug. 6, 1962.

Mrs. EMRY was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Leighfern BUCKLES, Leawood, Kan.; Mrs. Mildred GOODNOUGH, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. Velma BANGS, Leawood, Kan.; and Mrs. PAYNE. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother is deceased.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF IOWA IN AND FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF ELIZABETH EMRY, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ELIZABETH EMRY, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 28TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1973, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH EMRY DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 5TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1966, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT E. ARLENE PAYNE WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
