SMITH Rites Wednesday

Florence K. SMITH, 79, 500 W. Broadway, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday at the Park View Care Center where she had been a patient the past 10 days. She had been in failing health the past two months.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Karl Holtkamp officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited this evening at the Raymond Funeral Home beginning at 7 p.m.

Florence K. SMITH was born March 14, 1894, at Brighton, the daughter of Adam and Martha DRISH KASOWSKY. She was reared and educated near Brighton. She was a graduate of the Fairfield High School and of Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill.

Her marriage to Charles H. SMITH took place March 4, 1929 in Denver, Colo., where they made their home until 1969 when she moved to Fairfield. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Teresa KING, Delray Beach, Fla.; a brother, Hubert KASOWSKY, Ottumwa, four nieces and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.
