Death Takes G. DONOVAN

Guy S. DOOVAN (sic), 82, lifetime resident of the Fairfield community, died at 2:15 a.m. today at the Maple Wood Manor in Keota where he had been a patient the past week.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Guy S. DOOVAN (sic) was born Jan. 9, 1891, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Simpson and Tillie KNERR DONOVAN. His marriage to Lydia E. DUTTWEILER took place Nov. 22, 1911. She preceded her husband in death Feb. 12, 1963.

DONOVAN spent 61 years of his life as a barber in the Fairfield Community. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John PRENTICE, Fairfield. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
