Last rites will be Saturday for Thomas C. TOUHY, 51, former Fairfield resident who died Wednesday at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home conducted by Clinton Lodge No. 15, AF and AM, with prayer by Mrs. Roy Louden, reader. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
TOUHY's death came at 6:15 p.m. July 4 following an illness of six months.
He made his home in Fairfield from 1947 to January 1949 and was employed at the Iowa Malleable Iron Co.
At the time of his death he was president of Crop Hail Insurance Actuarial Association, and manager of Crop Hail Department of Great American Ins. Corp.
Thomas C. TOUHY was born April 22, 1922, in Denver, Colo., the son of Thomas and Leonella WHITE TOUHY. He was reared and educated in Denver and attended the University of Denver.
His marriage to Beverly COOPER took place Nov. 24, 1946, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 654 at Des Moines, and BPO Elks No. 1192 at Fairfield. TOUHY served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife and one brother, Fred C. TOUHY, Las Vegas, Nev. The family home is at 10219 Cedarbrook Lane, Kansas City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
