Death Takes A.C. KELLER

Arthur C. "Key" KELLER, 84, 307 E. Grimes, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua where he had been admitted earlier in the day.

Last rites will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Ned Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Arthur C. KELLER was born Nov. 18, 1888, in Jefferson County, the son of August and Philamon DROZ KELLER. He had spent his entire life in the Fairfield Community.

His marriage to Alice GOSSICK took place in Des Moines in 1917. She preceded him in death May 9, 1972.

For many years Keller was self employed operating a delivery service for grocery stores. Later he was employed by the Evergreen Cemetery Association.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
