F. COURTNEY Dies AT 43

Mrs. Florine COURTNEY, 43, 305 E. Burlington, died Thursday at 2 p.m. at University Hospitals in Iowa City. She had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill for the past three weeks.

Last rites will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. COURTNEY was born Nov. 30, 1929 in Fairfield, the daughter of William and Margaret LOPER MOYER. She was married to Alfred Lee COURTNEY June 9, 1946.

Surviving are her husband and two children: Mrs. Margaret CURTIS and Jon COURTNEY, both of Fairfield.

Also surviving are five grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Violet STEPHENS, Arvada, Colo.; Mrs. John COMBS, Rock Island, Ill.; Forrest MOYER, Elsberry, Mo.; Donald MOYER, Blue Mound, Ill.; Wilbur MOYER, Fairfield; Graham MOYER, Maquoketa; and William MOYER, Phoenix, Ariz.
