JAMES Rites On Monday

Harper E. JAMES, native of Jefferson County, died suddenly about noon Friday at his home, 1003 S. Third.

Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in the Salina Cemetery.

Harper E. JAMES, 72, was born May 30, 1901, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Charles and Etta NELSON JAMES.

His marriage to Agnes M. ANDERSON took place Oct. 12, 1939.

He lived in the Beckwith Community for a number of years and was an electrician and mechanic. They moved to Fairfield four years ago.

In addition to his wife, JAMES is survived by one brother, Harlan F. JAMES, Orovilla, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Doris MOREY, Santa Maria, Calif.
