February 23, 2004Barrett "Barry" L. Peters, 62, of San Antonio, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004.
The funeral was held Saturday morning at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church in San Antonio. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Crawfordsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of San Antonio. Porter Loring Mortuary in San Antonio is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Peters was born March 13, 1941, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Clarence A. and Miriam Sipe Peters. He married Kathleen C. Peters. After her death, he married Angeles Chaos.
He was reared in Fairfield. He graduated from Parsons College and had a career as a stockbroker, retiring from the Oakbrook Office of Salomon Smith Barney in 2001.
He appreciated books and art. He played golf.
Survivors include his wife; and one stepdaughter, Michelle Brunton and husband Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his first wife.
