Frederick (sic) S. PLOWMAN

Frederick (sic) S. PLOWMAN, 71, of Birmingham, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at home.

A funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. Burial will be in Leando Cemetery.

Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday, the hour prior to the service.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 73, Stockport 52651.

Mr. PLOWMAN was born Sept, 3, 1942, in Lexington, Neb., the son of Henry F. and Ruth A. NEAL PLOWMAN.

He spent most of his life in Olathe, Kan., and worked for MO-KAN, Iron Workers Union, along with various other jobs.

He served in the Navy.

He retired and later moved to Birmingham in 1999.

Survivors include two brothers, David PLOWMAN of Piedmont, Mo., and Lynn PLOWMAN of Olathe, Kan.; and three sisters, Marie SPILMAN of Milan, Ill., Joan DENNEY of Fairfield and Patricia HILL of Mount Pleasant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy BELL.
