Glen McKEE Dies At 74

Glen (Mac) McKEE, 74, 50 North C died suddenly Monday, 5:30 p.m., at Jefferson County Hospital where he had been admitted an hour and a half earlier.

He was born Dec. 23, 1902 at Birmingham, the son of Willis and Ada ELDER McKEE. On Feb. 4, 1923 he married Alberta HAFFNER at Donnellson.

A retired Iowa Electric Light and Power Company employe, he had worked for that company for over 40 years. He had lived in Fairfield more than 48 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Margaret CARLSON of Fairfield; one son, Robert of Fairfield; four grandchildren; one brother, Earl R. McKEE of Columbia, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister.

Services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
