Phyllis Marie KELLER

Phyllis Marie KELLER, 83, formerly of Stockport, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stockport Heritage Center with the Rev. Jason Mott officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date at Wright Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Stockport Christian Church.

Mrs. KELLER was born Oct. 18, 1929 in Floris the daughter of Robert and Lula MAYER VAN PATTEN. She married Wayne R. KELLER Aug. 13, 1949, at North Court Baptist Church in Ottumwa.

The couple lived southeast of Fairfield since 1952.

She was a member of Stockport Christian Church.

She sang with the Barber Shop Quartet, Note-a-Belles. She enjoyed playing music and writing blue grass music. She played at various bluegrass festivals.

She liked to write poems and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne R. KELLER; two children, Andrea HARLAN and spouse Victor, and Paul KELLER and spouse Kim; two grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.
