Rose Olga CLARK, 103, formerly of Drakesville, died at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Ottumwa.
A graveside service and burial is 1 p.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel Cemetery (note: in Davis County, IA) with her great-grandson, Aaron HELTERBRAN, officiating.
Visitation begins at noon Friday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund or Care Initiatives Hospice.
Mrs. CLARK was born Oct. 21, 1909 in Numa, the daughter of William and Sara MERRIT COOMES. She married Marvin O. CLARK March 12, 1932. He preceded her in death in September of 1984.
She had been a resident of Drakesville since the early 1970s, having previously lived in Centerville and Davenport.
She was a life member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centerville.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances FENTON of Drakesville, Mary PENCIL of Libertyville and Kay COLEMAN of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
