Vivienne L. WHITE ALVINE

Vivienne L. WHITE ALVINE age 94 of Fairfield died Wednesday evening at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

She was born March 9, 1919 in Fairfield, the daughter of Floyd and Clarise BARBER MATTHEWS.

A lifetime resident of Fairfield, Vivienne graduated from Fairfield High School in 1937.

She married Robert C. WHITE on November 28, 1940. They owned and operated the Maid-Rite for 31 years. They were partners in the Maid-Rite with her brother-in-law Perk LAMM.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and card clubs.

Robert died on February 18, 1983. She later married William ALVINE. He also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her infant son Stephen WHITE in 1957, and her parents.

Surviving are her son Barry WHITE and his wife Christine of Glen Elyn (sic - Glen Ellyn), Illinois and their two daughters, Camille and Daphne.

She is also survived by her step-daughter Carolyn KRABILL and her husband Kenneth of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, one step-grandson and one step-granddaughter, and a niece, Gloria LAMM.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26th at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Todd Holman officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Interment will be on Monday at the Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
