Patricia DUNN HEATER

Patricia DUNN HEATER, 82, of Keosauqua, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center-Keosauqua.

A funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Douglas Harding officiating.

Visitation opens at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with family present from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials to Riverview Club, Keosauqua or a charity of the donor's choice may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 201 Riverview Drive, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. HEATER was born Oct. 15, 1930, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of George Graham and Audrey LESSENGER DUNN. She married Richard D. HEATER Nov. 20, 1949, at her parent's home in the Sharon community north of Farmington.

She graduated from Donnellson High School, worked as a bookkeeper and secretary and retired as assistant personnel director for Louden Manufacturing in Fairfield.

She was a member of Rebekahs and had belonged to Daughters of America Revolution (sic) and P.E.O.

Following retirement, she and her husband wintered in Florida and enjoyed traveling and collecting.

An accomplished seamstress, she sewed most of her own clothing.

She and her husband could be found on the golf course many mornings following retirement.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Barbara MORRIS and spouse Ben of Keosauqua and Gianna BARROW and spouse Roy of Bonaparte; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline CAMPBELL.
