GRANT Rites Saturday

William H. GRANT, 42, Fairfield businessman, died suddenly about 5 a.m. today at his home, 54 N. Morgan. He had been in failing health for some time.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis C. Henricksen, celebrant; and the Rev. Karl Holtkamp, co-celebrant.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be conducted at the Weston Behner Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

William H. GRANT was born Oct. 16, 1931, at Bloomfield, the son of Glenn and Fern RICHARDSON GRANT. He was married July 3, 1954, to Betty BEINHART who survives.

He had operated the Grant Refrigeration Service in Fairfield for the past eight years. He was a veteran of the Korean War (sic - Korean Conflict) and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

In addition to his widow, GRANT is survived by two sons, Perry and Pat, both at home; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn H. GRANT, 809 W. Briggs, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by one brother.
