Jerry Alan BROWN, 50, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at home in St. Paul, Minn.

A funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

Visitation for family and friends is 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Minnesota Public Library.

Mr. BROWN was born Aug. 1, 1962, in Fairfield the son of Donald Dean and Dolores Agnes MOELLER BROWN.

He graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1980. He continued his education, earning a master's degree and he was working on a doctorate.

He lived in St. Paul for the last 15 years.

He was a supervisor for Bureau of Labor and Statistics, state of Minnesota.

He enjoyed bicycling, movies, reading and was politically active.

Survivors include siblings, Julie LUDWIG of Farmington, Jim BROWN of Puyallup, Wash., John BROWN of Stockport and Jack BROWN of Mound, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
