Carolyn Sue MORRISON

Carolyn Sue MORRISON, 66, of Richmond Hill, Ga., died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at home.

According to her wishes, there were no services and the body was cremated.

Ms. MORRISON was the daughter of Roger and Wilma ELMORE MORRISON. She married Paul HICKENBOTTOM of Fairfield in 1965. They later divorced.

She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1965.

She lived in Georgia for many years and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. She was the first female letter carrier for the city of Savannah, Ga.

She transferred to the Mount Pleasant Post Office to return to Fairfield to care for her elderly parents.

She returned to Georgia and her family and also worked for the Savannah Water Department.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, Richard MORRISON and spouse Debbie of Richmond Hill; one brother, Dean MORRISON of Azle, Texas; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
