Richard D. WILCOX, 65, of Stockport, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Richard "Pete" Dale WILCOX, 65, of Stockport and formerly of Bloomfield died at 11:23 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Stockport Methodist Church, with the Rev. Herb Shafer officiating.
Visitation, with family present, will be noon to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. A private family burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
Memorials to the Hope Lodge in Iowa City can be left at the church or mailed to the family at 16241 Juniper Trail, Birmingham 52535.
Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua handled the cremation.
Mr. WILCOX was born Nov. 21, 1947, in Pulaski, the son of Hubert and Inez McMAINS WILCOX. He married Sheryl BARKER Oct. 7, 1969, in Memphis, Mo. They divorced in 2000 and remained friends.
Mr. WILCOX lived most of his life in Davis County.
He attended Indian Hills Community College and Kirkwood Community College. He worked at Mid-States in Milton as a welder and an area truck driver, American Tank in Bloomfield and All-States in Memphis.
He served in the Navy from 1965-1968 during the Vietnam War.
He had been a member of the VFW in Bloomfield and a member of the saddle clubs in both Drakesville and Bloomfield.
He loved his family, enjoyed collecting coins, fast horses and faster cars. His dog Molly was his constant companion.
Survivors include two daughters, Serena SHEROD and husband David of Birmingham, and Samantha WILCOX-ZIMMER of Stockport; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Jerry Dean WILCOX of Redwood, Calif., and Lawrence William of Lacrosse (sic - La Crosse), Wis.; and one sister, Martha DROZ of Raleigh, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marilyn McBRIDE and Ann BEITZ; four brothers, Francis James, Farrell "Willie," Leonard "Buzz," and Loren "Buck" WILCOX.
