Myron Paul Hillman, 79, of 2910 180th St. died Thursday evening, Feb. 5, 2004, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at New Sweden United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Diane Brokken officiating. Burial will be in New Sweden Cemetery.

Open visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the New Sweden United Methodist Church or the New Sweden Cemetery.

Mr. Hillman was born May 16, 1924, in Salina, the son of Harper E. and Ruth G. Monson Hillman.

He grew up on the family farm and continued farming there until his retirement. He was a member of the New Sweden United Methodist Church and a member of the New Sweden Cemetery board.

Survivors include one sister, Bernice E. Clark of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Carroll Hillman.
