Larry HINKLE, 27, one of four persons killed in the cable car accident at Squaw Valley ski resort in California, was the son of a former Jefferson County resident.
His wife is one of 30 persons injured in the accident but local relatives had received no word of her condition as of this morning.
Larry's father is Karl HINKLE who was born and reared in the Salina and Germanville communities. He has made his home in California since a young man.
Larry HINKLE was a nephew of Richard HINKLE, Libertyville; Mrs. Lester MAYER, Fairfield; and Ernest HINKLE, Birmingham.
His grandmother, Nettie HINKLE, is a resident at the care center in Wayland, and his grandfather(sp), Ernest HINKLE, lives at Washington.
The Karl HINKLEs reside at 2490 Agnes Way, Palo Alto, California, 94304.
