Jordon (sic) Tazwell BAKER, 16, of Fairfield, died Monday afternoon, July 1, 2013, from injuries received in a farm accident south of Fairfield.
A funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Word of Life Lutheran Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Chris Fiske and the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.
Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to charities to be named later.

Mr. BAKER was born May 16, 1997, in Iowa City, the son of Michael Todd and Jennifer POHREN BAKER.
He would have been a junior at Van Buren High School this fall.
He grew up in Fairfield and attended elementary and middle school in Fairfield until moving to Van Buren County three years ago.
He was baptized at the Hopewell Church in Blakesburg.
He was a member of the Rough Riders 4-H Club, serving as president.
He served on the Youth Teen County Council and participated in both track and football in school.
Survivors include his parents Mike and Jennifer BAKER of Douds; four brothers, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jaden and Jabin BAKER; one sister Myriah BAKER; grandparents, Elizabeth DAVITT POHREN, Kathy and Jim ELLIOTT, all of Fairfield and Steve and Ruth BAKER of Birmingham; and great-grandmother Hazel BAKER of Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Larry POHREN.

Front Page16-year-old dies in tractor accident
A farm accident claimed the life of a Van Buren County youth Monday evening when the tractor he was driving rolled over, pinning him underneath.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff Gregg Morton, law enforcement officials from the sheriff's office responded to a 911 call at 6:15 p.m. Monday 5 miles south of Fairfield off Highway 1. When officers arrived, they discovered Jordon BAKER, 16, pinned under a tractor. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
BAKER was mowing hay on a farm his family rents prior to the accident, Morton said. He is the son of Jennifer and Michael BAKER.
Assisting the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at the scene were the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Reserve, the Fairfield Fire Department and Midwest Ambulance.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.
