Elvin EDWARDS Taken In Death

Elvin EDWARDS, 73, formerly of Fairfield, died of a heart attack Tuesday night at his home in Joplin, Mo.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin. Burial will be in the Ozark Center Cemetery.

Edwards is survived by his wife, the former Rosetta NELSON, three daughters, Maxine BOLMERT, Darlene DOGGETT and Beverly DIVILL and eight grandchildren.

While in Fairfield, Edwards was a security guard at Parsons College. On retirement, he and his wife moved to Joplin.
