Mrs. LOVELL Dies At 88

Mrs. Lucinda B. LOVELL, 88, former longtime resident of Fairfield, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Fort Madison Community Hospital where she had been a patient for two days.

She had been taken to the hospital in Fort Madison from the West Point Care Center at West Point where she was a resident.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Prehn officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Lucinda B. LOVELL was born May 13, 1889, in Lamoni, the daughter of Edward and Frances BRADFORD BRANTWAITE.

Her marriage to Carl BANKS took place in 1907 at Lamoni. He preceded her in death. She was married to Enos LOVELL in 1917. He also preceded her in death.

Mrs. LOVELL was a resident of Fairfield for over 30 years before she moved to West Point six years ago. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints at Lamoni.

She is survived by the following children: Maxine WALLJASPER, West Point; Lucile SCHULTZ, Moline, Ill.; Earl BANKS, Webb, Ala.; Kenneth BANKS, Danville; Marvin LOVELL, Ottumwa; Robert LOVELL, Redding, Calif.; and Ruth MINISTER, Burlington.

Other survivors include 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.

Mrs. LOVELL was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and 12 brothers and sisters.
