Hugh RIZOR Dies At 72

Hugh F. RIZOR, 72, Jefferson County farmer, died suddenly Tuesday about 9 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital about 20 minutes earlier after becoming ill at his home seven miles southeast of Fairfield.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Visitation will be held at the Behner Funeral Home Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A lifelong resident of Jefferson County, RIZOR was born March 26, 1906 at Lockridge, the son of Walter W. and Ida ALBERT RIZOR. He was married to Margaret COX Oct. 15, 1925 at Memphis, Mo. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and Modern Woodmen Lodge.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Doris SIDDIG, Chicago, Ill., and Joyce CATHEY, Fairfield. Two grandchildren also survive. Two brothers are deceased.
