Raymond E. 'Bear' McINTIRE

Raymond Elmer "Bear" McINTIRE, 67, of Branson, Mo., died Monday, June 17, 2013.

The funeral was set for 1 p.m. today at the Branson Baptist Church in Branson, with the Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial was in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, also in Branson. Services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson.

Donations can be sent to Missions at Branson Baptist Church, 310 S. Commercial St., Branson, Mo. 65616.

Mr. McINTIRE was born Oct. 28, 1945, in Fairfield, the son of Raymond and Berl HOLMES McINTIRE. He married Michele C. "Mick" HAAG Aug. 15, 1982, in Dubuque.

He graduated from Fairfield High School. He owned and operated a construction company that did remodeling of residential structures in Iowa.

The McINTIREs moved to the Branson area about two years ago from Jesup to enjoy retirement.

He was a member of the Branson Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ray McINTIRE and wife Vanessa of Jacksonville, N.C., and Joe McINTIRE of Dubuque; one step-son, Tony BROWN and wife Shannon of Shullsburg, Wis.; one daughter, Sue BRUEKLANDER of Garwin; one stepdaughter, Silvia BROWN of Cedar Rapids; 14 grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Martha LEAFGREEN; and two grandchildren.
