Rites For W. GEGNER

Services for Warren H. GEGNER, 69, who died Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Jefferson County Hospital after a lingering illness, will be on Friday, 7 p.m., at Behner Fuenral Home with the Rev. John F. Wilken officiating. The casket will be closed and the body cremated.

GEGNER was born Feb. 6, 1908 in Oskaloosa, the son of John and Mary WEATHERWAX GEGNER. On Nov. 24, 1930 he married Irene M. PERCIA.

GEGNER had been in the locker business at Packwood, Brighton and Fairfield and had lived in this community over 30 years. The family home is at 1000 N. Eighth. The deceased was a member of First United Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jack E. of Princeton and W. Dale of Route 2, Brighton; one daughter, Mrs. Robert REYNOLDS of Fairfield; a stepmother, Mrs. Marjorie BRUNS of Sigourney; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jim CROSS of Fort Dodge and one brother, Terry of Cedar Rapids.
