Relatives At PARSONS Rites

Mr. and Mrs. Chester HICKENBOTTOM of Route 2, Batavia were taken to Salem, Ind., by their daughter-in-law, Mrs. John HICKENBOTTOM, where they attended funeral services for his cousin, Ralph H. PARSONS on Saturday, May 12.

PARSONS, 81, was a retired Minnesota Mutal Life Insurance general manager and a native of Hoxie, Kan. He was the son of Lewis PARSONS who founded Parsons Academy. The family home is in Louisville, Ky. He died May 10 at Kentucky Baptist Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, the former Hazel LEWIS, two daughters, Mrs. Floyd SHAFER of Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Lindell DRAKE, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial was in Salem.
