Hattie PRUDEN rites Tuesday

Hattie L. PRUDEN, 92, resident of Fairfield for over 58 years, died at 3:05 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient since Aug. 1, 1983.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home. Elder Donald Richards will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Senior Citizens Center.

Hattie L. PRUDEN, 505 South E, was born Aug. 25, 1891, in Macon County, Mo. She was the daughter of Horace and Samantha COURIER VIA.

Her marriage to John L. PRUDEN took place Aug. 9, 1908, in Macon County. He died Feb. 25, 1961. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorene VICE, Fairfield; Betty PARKS, Egan, Minn.; a son, Earl PRUDEN, Roseville, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and one half sister, Opel HOWELL, Macon, Mo. She was preceded in death by two sons.
